Tiny set from Hong Kong. Hollow plastic tiles with decals on faces. Eight flowers/seasons, no spares. No arabic numbers/letters , except on flowers. Comes "complete" with dice and wind/round indicator. Entire set fits in the hand.

Huge plastic 2-tone set from China. No arabic letters, no flowers, no spares - only basic set 136 tiles. Typical set of "what they play with in China". With such large tiles it's easier to understand how some people can "read" a tile by touch ...

Modern Japanese set with "red fives", used for a special Japanese variant. Deeply pressed plastic 2-tone tiles with very sharp definition, typical of higher-quality Japanes sets - best seen in nicely "flowered" dots, in a well-constructed case with attractive interior.
No arabics numbers/letters. White dragons are blank, as is usual with Japanese sets.
